Lisa Pemberton trained at The Barlett School of Architecture where she graduated with distinction. She received the runner up prize for the RIBA Presidents Silver Medal, and gained RIBA Part III qualification in 2005. Since then, she spent over 15 years working in top London Architectural Practices including Lifshutz Davidson Sandilands, Marks Barfield Architects and Ian Ritchie Architects, managing building projects in a range of sectors including residential, masterplanning, galleries, museums, retail, offices and bridge design. Lisa worked on many prestigious projects including the British Museum, Bonhams Auction House, Kings Cross Masterplan and the Brighton i-360. In 2013 Lisa established her own practice focusing on a wide range of residential projects including listed buildings. Her practice is built on a desire to create spaces which improve wellbeing, often by drawing in the wonderful qualities of the outside. Lisa’s love of the outdoors greatly influences her passion for creating sustainable buildings, built with natural, or hand crafted materials, maximising views and light to form spaces which are an everyday joy to be in. She greatly values an open dialogue with her clients to ensure her designs not only fulfil their aesthetic desires, but enhance and simplify the patterns and practices of their everyday lives.
