Smiths Terrace

A developer client approached us to transform a rundown London terrace into a high quality family home. We opened up the dark lower ground floor into a free flowing and bright open plan living space. A new glazed side return was designed to draw light into a new contemporary kitchen and dining room.  The new entrance, utility area and external storage space greatly improved access to the property for a family. The upper ground floor was transformed into a modern bedroom suite with large master bedroom, dressing room and ensuite bathroom. A new 1st floor extension over the rear addition was designed as a sophisticated family bathroom and clad in zinc depicting a traditional mansard roof. Finally a new loft extension created an additional large bedroom and bathroom, clad in zinc to match and designed to appear as a seamless continuation of the existing house.
